Founded in 2023 by husband-and-wife team Brittany and Cotey Bowman, ACG was built from a shared vision: to meet the growing mental health needs of the Waco community with both clinical excellence and genuine care.
Drawing from their backgrounds in counseling, faith-informed practice and a deep understanding of relational and emotional struggles, the Bowmans set out to create a place where every client could experience meaningful support. What began as a small practice has grown into a trusted counseling group offering a wide range of services for issues including anxiety, depression, trauma and relationship challenges. In 2026 Archer Counseling Group won Best of Waco by the Wacoan Magazine.
Brittany and Cotey both received their MA in Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary. They consider it an honor to be a part of Waco and to watch clients at ACG, experience positive change and healing.
